Claude Bruce Troutman, 75, of Vero Beach, passed away on Sept. 3, 2014.
He is survived by his son Bruce Kevin Troutman and daughter Karen Troutman; grandsons David and Bryan Troutman; brothers Ed Troutman and Allen Troutman; sister Bonnie Troutman King; and many nieces and nephews.
Troutman was employed for many years as a Licensed Life and Health Insurance Agent in Florida and North Carolina after serving in the US Army in Korea.
He was born March 20, 1939 in a log cabin on Roan Mountain, Mitchell County, Bakersville, N.C. to Robert Claude Troutman and Dove (Ledford) Troutman who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother Steve Henderson and a sister Hettie Mae “Toots” Troutman Reed.
A Life Celebration Service for Troutman will begin at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 12, at the Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
