Charles Thompson, 87, of Vero Beach, passed away on Sept. 5, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Edith; son Scott Thompson; daughters Robyn Holladay and Linda Reid; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Thompson was a native of Indianapolis, Ind., and he moved to Vero Beach 36 years ago from Ft. Lauderdale. Prior to retirement he was a carpenter.
Thompson was a veteran of the United States Navy.
