Edward C. Walkiewicz Sr., 91, died Nov. 8, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Irvington, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach since 1996, coming from Martinsville, N.J., and Boca Raton.
Before retirement, he owned the ConWeimar Transportation Co. and the White Eagle Bottling Co.
He served in the Army during World War II as a first sergeant.
Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Angela J. Walkiewicz; son, Edward J. Walkiewicz, of Stanton, N.J.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time.
