VERO BEACH — The pedestrian who was involved in the crash Dec. 8 at 33rd Avenue and 20th Street in Vero Beach has died, according to the Vero Beach Police Department.
The pedestrian, Wesley Buckingham, of Vero Beach, died Dec. 11 at 6:49 p.m. at Lawnwood Medical Center, according to authorities. He was 76-years-old.
The case has been updated to a traffic homicide and remains an ongoing investigation, according to police.

VERO BEACH — As of Dec. 9, 8 a.m., the pedestrian who was involved in the crash at 33rd Ave. and 20th St. in Vero Beach remains in critical condition, according to Vero Beach Police.
It was determined by authorities, according to their release, that the pedestrian was at fault in the crash. According to eyewitness’ accounts, the pedestrian darted in front of the vehicle.
The crash remains an ongoing investigation, according to police. No citations were issued to the driver who was involved.

VERO BEACH — One person was injured in a pedestrian-vehicle collision Monday afternoon in the area of 33rd Avenue and 20th Street in Vero Beach.
The Vero Beach Police Department is investigating the crash, which happened around 1:50 p.m.
The pedestrian has only been identified as a white male. He was found unresponsive in the eastbound lanes of State Road 60. He has since been transported to the Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, in Fort Pierce.
Authorities determined that one vehicle was involved in the crash. The vehicle contained a driver and no passengers. The driver has not been identified.
The crash remains under investigation. As of yet, no charges have been filed.
