David Paul Schreiner, 47, died Oct. 5, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Waterbury, Conn., and lived in Vero Beach for 15 years, coming from Connecticut.
He was a member of St. Augustine Episcopal Church, Vero Beach.
He was the owner of Handyman for Hire in Vero Beach since 2002.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Donna Schreiner, of Vero Beach; son, Brian Fabrizio, of Georgia; stepson, Zachary Brayfield, of Connecticut; stepdaughter, Amanda Montagano, of Connecticut; parents, Richard and Faith Schreiner, of Vero Beach; sister, Deborah Butler, of Connecticut; brother, Richard “Rick” Schreiner Jr., of Connecticut; and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County, P.O. Box 644, Vero Beach, FL 32961.
Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Oct. 12 followed by a 5 p.m. memorial service at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach, officiated by Father Michael Goldberg of St. Augustine Episcopal Church.
