Pelican Island NWR Celebration

The Pelican Island Conservation Society invites you to join us for the 119th celebration of the establishment of our nation’s first National Wildlife Refuge, the Pelican Island NWR, with special events throughout the weekend of March 12-13, 2022. President Teddy Roosevelt will join us once again to bring history to life and regale us with his adventures and how he established Pelican Island as the first federal bird reservation.
