The Revival of a Local Favorite

Vero Beach, FL — Several years ago, Chef Michael Lander wanted to revive Garage Pizza, a local favorite that once thrived on Old Dixie. With the help of former Michael’s on 7th team members James Foerst and Jessica Smith, and Chef Michael, the Garage brand was successfully brought back to life. Foerst and Smith have since moved on to launch their newest venture, Service Alley, in the old Kelly’s Irish Pub.

A Family-Owned Chapter

Now, Garage Pizza begins a fresh chapter under the ownership and management of Chef Michael Lander and his son, Chef Dylan Lander. The father-son duo has given the space a facelift while staying true to what customers love most: quality, handcrafted, wood-fired pizza.

Wood-Fired Signature Pizzas

Every pie begins with dough made in-house, baked in “Big Blue,” the wood-fired oven that is the centerpiece of the restaurant. Signature offerings include the Lovely Rita, Garage’s take on a classic Margherita, and the Hit and Run, featuring golden Carolina BBQ sauce, smoked chicken, red onion, and jalapeño if you like.

Back by Popular Demand

Fans of the original Garage will be thrilled to find some old favorites back on the menu as well, including jumbo chicken wings and the hearty meatball sub.

Location & Tradition

Garage Pizza is located at 2217 7th Ave, Suite B, tucked in the rear of Michael’s on 7th. With the Landers at the helm, the tradition of great pizza, made from scratch and serving neighborhood comfort, continues. Garage Wood-Fired Pizza offers a casual spot for locals and visitors alike to gather, eat, and enjoy.
