Jane Hailey, 93, of Vero Beach, passed away on Aug. 1, 2016, at VNA Hospice House.
She is survived by her three daughters, Jesse (Randy) Durkee of Vero Beach, Judy LaPorte also of Vero Beach, and Janie Morris of Washington; her son Rex L. (Lynn) Hailey, Jr. of Vero Beach; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rex L. Hailey, Sr.
Hailey was born on Aug. 18, 1922 in Peoria, Ill., and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 64 years, coming from her birthplace.
She had worked in the customer service department of the City of Vero Beach for 38 years.
She was a member of Kings Baptist Church, Vero Beach.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., with a 2 p.m. service to be held and dinner to follow, at Kiwanis Hobart Park, Pavilion #1, on Sunday, Aug. 14.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Dixie Oak Manor, 6410 Old Dixie Highway, Vero Beach, FL 32967.
