Patricia “Patty” M. Forest, 67, of Vero Beach, passed away on July 3, 2016.
She is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Richard (Rich) and faithful and loving dog Sam; her step-children Michelle Lapping of California, Jacqueline Bruce of Greenwich, N.Y., Jason (Kristen) Forest of Schenectady, N.Y. and Matthew Forest of Troy, N.Y.; grandchildren Anthony Lapping, Chase Lapping, Jet Bruce, Carter Forest and Hanna Forest; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judith and James Ball of Fairport, N.Y. and Linda and Gary Kircher of Webster, N.Y.; nieces and nephews Steve (Tracy) Ball, Kevin Ball, Mark (Kim) Kircher, Lauren (Steve) White, Sheri (David) Price and Karen (Mike) Braden; great-nieces and nephews Ian White, Bailee Price, J. T. Price, Conner Ball, Jacob Braden, Leigha Kircher, Joshua Ball, Gabrielle Braden and Cassidy White; and her childhood and lifelong friend Joann Szczpanski Fletcher.
She was predeceased by her parents Mark and Mabel Niger of Rochester, N.Y. and Vero Beach.
Forest was born in Rochester, N.Y. on June 17, 1949, and was a resident of Vero Beach since 1996.
She was employed by several insurance companies while living in Rochester and retired from Brown and Brown in Vero Beach.
There will be no prior calling hours.
Friends may gather for the celebration of her life for Mass at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
