David M. Brandt, 91, of Sebastian, passed away on April 28, 2015, at Sebastian River Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Catherine Brandt; son Gary Brandt; daughter Naomi Genco; son-in-law Timothy Genco; brother Karl Brandt; sister Cecilia Kaitzz; step-daughter Kathy Giuliano; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Brandt was a WWII Vet. He retired from the New Jersey post office. He was a volunteer at Sebastian River Medical Center for 15 years which he immensely enjoyed. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and making wooden pens. Brandt also enjoyed gardening, other wood working projects, but most of all, he enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
