INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Indian River County is under a significant weather advisory until 5:15 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
At 4:32 p.m. the NWS doppler radar indicated a storm capable of producing strong wind gusts over western Vero Beach moving south-southeast toward the greater Fort Pierce area, according to the report.
The primary threat will be cloud to ground lighting strikes and gusty winds of 45 to 55 mph, according to NWS. They suggest people seek shelter indoors until the storm passes.
