Susanne K. Margeson, 89, died July 4, 2013, at home.
She was born in Germany and lived in Vero Beach for two years, coming from Barefoot Bay after 36 years.
Before retirement, she was a camp director for the Girl Scouts of America.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society and past president of the German American Society, both in Vero Beach.
Survivors include two nephews and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; and daughter, Elaine.

A celebration of life will be from 1 to 3 p.m. July 9 at Building E of the Barefoot Bay Golf Course.
