Richard A. “Rick” Kidney, 70, died July 4, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in St. Jean, Quebec, and lived in Vero Beach for 3½ years, coming from Nashville, Tenn.
Before retirement, he worked in real estate in Canada and Nashville.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Jane; daughter, Alison; son, Geoffrey; sister, Alexa Brewer, of Ottawa, Ontario; and one grandchild.

Services will be private.
