She was born in Genoa City, Wis., and lived in Sebastian since 1982, coming from Wisconsin.
She attended Parkside University in Kenosha, Wis., graduating with a teaching degree.
She taught for several years in Wisconsin before relocating to Florida with her family in 1982.
In Sebastian, she was a teacher for St. Edward’s Lower School from 1986 to 1991 and at Suncoast Primary School from 1992 until her retirement in 2012.
Survivors include her husband, William Molter; daughter, Michelle Molter Reynolds; sons, Mitchell Molter, Michael Molter, Matthew Molter, Marc Molter and Marshall Scott Molter; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dean Thompson.
