Harriet E. Nyquist, 86, died Feb. 26, 2013, at VNA Hospice House.
She was born in Sorsele, Sweden, and lived in Vero Beach for 42 years, coming from Chicago.
She was of the Lutheran faith. She was a member of the Vasa Order of America- Austin Lodge, Svenska Gillet in Chicago, Swedish Glee Club and Swedish-American Museum in Chicago.
Survivors include her son, B. Anders Nyquist, of Vero Beach; and one grandson.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. March 8 at Caledon Shores Condominium Banquet Room in Vero Beach.
