William D. Wallace, 82, died June 3, 2012, at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne.
He was born in Parkman, Maine, and lived in Vero Beach for 24 years, coming from Victorville, Calif.
Before retirement, he was an immigration officer for the U.S. government for 35 years.
He was honorably discharged from the Navy following his service during the Korean conflict.
He was a member of the Retired Border Patrol Officer Organization.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Linda Wallace, of Vero Beach; and three daughters.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Bell.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 3 p.m. June 7 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
